We’re well into 2013 now so it’s about time you started to plan your next trip. Thinking of something exciting to do in March that involves great parties, great beer and new Irish friends? St. Patrick’s Day is it and there is no better place to celebrate this Irish holiday than in the capital of Ireland.

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th. That doesn’t give you too much time to iron out all the details for your trip. If you are going to head over the water and visit Dublin, best to book your low cost flights now for cheap flights. It’s an extremely popular time to visit Ireland, obviously! So booking things like flights and hotels as early as possible is crucial.

March 17th is the only day of the year that everyone can claim to be Irish. It seems the whole world wants to celebrate their “Irishness” with the Emerald Isle. But March 17th is more than just consuming a lot of Guinness and dressing up in the colour green. March 17th marks the day that Christianity reached Ireland and to celebrate Saint Patrick, make a toast to the patron saint in style… with a pint of local beer in your glass.

This year Dublin will host a festival from March 14th to 18th and will feature parades, music and street performances, craft beer festivals, funfairs and much, much moor. It’s a party you won’t want to miss!
